Post got my VIN and delivery week

Yes, yes.

Bret, Oakland Downtown Sub, gave me my VIN today and said my wagon is due for the week of June 11. Ordered in April.

I have waited this long, guess I can wait a little longer, guess I don't have a choice.:-}

I went to downtown last weekend to check up on my order and bret told me the week of the 4th so hopefully the week of the forth. but it will probably come the week of the 11th. oh well only two weeks more. also ken i called today about the vin number and bret was reading it off to me and he was saying names, was he doing that for the letters. like John=J and Frank=F and George=G etc.just want to make sure. got me all confused so i just wrote down the names.
peace

Does anyone know of a way to track your ordered car, like a UPS package?:-}

Seems like I saw some reference to SOA knowing the status of my car, a web page, a phone number?

Yeah, that's about right.

Ask your dealer to check his "pipeline report" which comes out periodically and shows the expected delivery dates and such. The dates are subject to change of course so take it with a grain of salt.

Yeah, anticipation does do that!

I was hoping that the car would come in a week when my work was slow, so I could get the 1000 miles over real soon, but looks like it will take me a few days longer.

My poor little '89 Honda is going to be glad when the WRX gets here cause I am kinda practicing with it, reving the engine probably higher than its 190,000 miles really likes.:-}

Heck, why wait? There are quite a few at dealers around the bay area. That's how I got mine!
