If I use a hydraulic jack (those that u use for swapping of gearbox) to prop up some part of the engine.....
Will I be able to remove my crossmember and swap it for another one without disconnecting the engine from the gearbox? Currently running the turbo crossmember + stock WRX everything. Having problems with the turbo inlet clearing the block so gonna swap back to the NA crossmember + custom piping.

So is the WRX header setup really better than using the stock NA headers?
Seems like alot of people giving me conflicting views on this matter |

well i dunno for sure but it doesnt make sense theyd make poor headers if they already had a design that worked half way decently

However, if you do the Turbo Xmember, you leave yourself open to use aftermarket headers that are dyno proven to increase power, and reduce lag. If you have RS heads, you should be able to use turbo Xmember w/ WRX manifolds, but I would use an aftermarket one if possible, as the cats are very restrictive. invidia makes a beautiful one for only 1100 bucks . -Jake |
