Default Link plus EBC or MBC

I have Link Engine Management right now. I am running a conservative 14.5psi on 91 piss....but I am curious, if I use like an AVC-R or SBC-iD can I use them without doing any tuning? Will that be safe? I am running an SR40 turbine with PE 650's. I'm thinking I can safely boost like...17psi on 91?

Or would an MBC be easier?
