If you're interested in SC builds, here's a thread over at RS25 that is all about them:

I've been following every sc thread I can find on RS25 and here since I first happened upon the reddevil build. I'm really interested to hear if the reddevil will ever be ressurected.

Just saw that Xcceleration just released a SC kit for the 2.5NA on their website in the Impreza 2.5 section.

It's using a Rotrex Supercharger. Anyone know much about the Rotrex?

Rotrex blowers are sweet little guys. I've long wanted to put one on a subie and let it eat.

I'm new here but here it goes I'm a subaru tech for a dealer up here in Washington and am about to start stripping the loyale down and doing a lift and such I have all that lined out. To my question can I get away with boring the ea82 .040 over and with it being spfi is there someone that makes a larger injector and programable ecu and is there a heavier clutch out there for this pig? Any and all input will be appreciated I know I could do the 2.2 swap to but I'm still gonna run into the issue of finding a heavier clutch ps: I wasn't sure where to post this the sight wouldn't let me start my own thread :/

There is a sub forum specifically for n/a engines with bolt on forced induction. You will certainly get better info from members that know what's they are talking about there. I am 100% sure there is an injector solution available, along with your choice of programmable ecu's. I would suggest you establish a budget and see what you can do within it.

There is also a transmission/driveline forum where you might even find the answer to your clutch inquiry already exists. Chk the stickies and use the advanced search tool.

1. go to ultimatesubaru.org
2. ...
3. Profit

For serious though. not many people here know about the older engines. ultimatesubaru is the place to be for older stuff. Next part is throw away that ea82. You will never be happy with the measly amount of power that it can put out even with the mildly oversized pistons and crap you plan on putting into it. For an "uprated" clutch, go with an xt6 clutch and flywheel combo with an adaptor kit. There should be a few choices to choose from all covered on the USMB. TONS of info on exactly what you want to do.

back on topic here... I haven't looked at this thread in a while... didn't realize the car was scrapped. Done with this totally?

USMB is just going to suggest swapping in an EJ22 anyway.....

So, yeah, just do that. Cheaper, more power, more reliable.
