Default impreza and legacy shocks?

i heard that the shocks for a an impreza fit the legacy. i just wanta make sure before i go and purchase anything. thx alot

Yes, the 93-01 Impreza suspension should bolt up to your legacy. I replaced my GT set with a set from an RS.

I think it depends on the year, IIRC the 2004/05 WRX has different top hats spring mounts (check the suspension forum to make sure on that) and therefore the springs are different. The real issue is spring rate as the 2nd Gen Legacy is higher front/rear than the WRX (exception may be the WRX Wagon rears - guys in suspension forum would know this). I know that KYB AGXs from the AWD 93-01 Impreza fit the 2nd Gen Legacys and the GT springs will work with this setup. I use Eibach Pro Kits with my AGXs but NUBURU2 is using Whitelines with his 98 GT Wagon and likes that combination too.

GC struts fit BD legacys, however, you need BD springs, otherwise the rear of the car will sag. Another word of advice, if you do decide to get coilovers GC's will not work well.
