Default gas flowing out of my downpipe

BTW.. im running open downpipe.

I just got done installig my injectors and the car won't start.. we looked under the car and there is a lot of gas on the floor. So.. i look at a sr20 injector and a stock injector.. and there is another small ring at the bottom of the stock injector that I didn't have on the sr20 injector. Could this be why I have gas flowing out of my downpipe.. or could it be somthing more?

I can post a pic if anyone is confused.

I need help ASAP.

Well.. I put new oil in it.. new spark plugs. tried to start it up with the sr20 injectors and gas was still flowing out of the downpipe.

So, I installed my stock injectors once again. Gas was still flowing out of the downpipe.

Check your wiring of the injectors... I'm assuming you had to splice in injector pigtails, which really should be straightforward, but if somehow something got crossed and they're firing all the time, they would just dump fuel into the cylinders, causing massive flooding, which would just come out the tailpipe (headers, downpipe, whatever it manages to leak from in the exhaust).

I would also check after a few seconds to see if the injectors are getting hot after the car is on a bit... this could indicate that they're shorted open all the time, too.

Last thing you could try is unplugging all the injectors and cranking it over a bit, then using some starting fluid sprayed into the throttle body to see if you can get her to turn over. Kind of a far-fetched idea, but it should work just fine, no worry if the MAF is bypassed, you don't need it metering air at that point.
