Has anyone swaped a sti engine w/ 6 spd trans to a 2.5 rs. 2004?
If so about how much am i looking at $$$$.
Are these parts easily evailable?

possible? YES
Pricey? VERY
Parts can be easily found . . i know of a couple that sell crate engines and tranny's. . check gruppe-s.com and rallispec.com. They might be backordered but it gives you an estimation on how much you're gonna pay.

thanks for the web sites, but they dont sell the whole engine.

You are going to need more than just the engine (and yes, both of those places do sell engines). Wiring harness and a bunch of other stuff are also important. For the tranny you will need to get the R180 rear end or at least a new ring and pinion (along with a new driveshaft).

What approximate budget do you have? You might want to look in the 'conversions' forum... and do some searches.
