I'm right up the road in Shawnee. It's actually supposed to be decent Thursday and Friday.

What are you looking to do? There's lots of stuff in the KC area.

Not sure really. I will likely be working most of the time, but was curious if there is a cool place to go/eat at if I find myself with some downtime.

I'm actually staying a little south of Lexana in Overland Park.

Checking the weather, it does look better than it did the other day.

Are you sure you're not going to Lenexa?

You should probably go here in KC and have you meal delivered by a toy train.

And maybe check out the Moon Marble company and watch someone make glass marbles by hand.

Check out Oklahoma Joe's barbecue in KCK or if you make it out to Lawrence there is a great burger joint called the Burger Stand. Also Boulevard Brewery is about 20-25 minutes from Overland Park/Lenexa.

Here are some other restaurant recommendations:
Fiorella's Jack Stack
Gates BBQ
Arthur Bryant's BBQ
Yard House

The majority of the BBQ joints in KC are going to be pretty good.

Bought a 6'er of their Pils...nice.

Will be trying more of their offerings as the store right up the street carries a lot of them.

A lot of nice college girls around here

I'm enjoying the plentiful 70mph speed limits in the area...makes the commute nice.
