Question Loud beeping

The other day I was crusing down the highway and at about 125 or 130mph I heard a loud beeping sound coming from the inside of my WRX. I was wondering if anybody knows the cause of this, it could possibly been from another electronic in the car, but I am not sure. Thanks.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, wasn't really sure where to put it

is it a pulsing beep or a constant high pitched sound? If its the latter, then you're hearing wind passing over the not so aero dynamic mirrors.

It was a pulsing beep, I thought that it might have been a fuel cut-off warning or something, but I don't think that I have a fuel cut-off point, especially with the UTEC, please correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks

Is there a fuel cut-off point in the WRX?

I was just searching for the same thing. When i shifted from 5th to 6th on the freeway around 6k rpms, my wife and I were looking at each other and I started to slow down. I have never heard that beeping before. I recently got tuned via email on my AP. Current mods are perrin fmic, cobb turboback, perrin shortram. I know this thread is old but lets get it goin again
