Question where can i get gold bulbs to put in my fogs...

Does anyone know where I can get gold colored bulbs that emit that Lexus type gold beam for my fogs? I'm thinking of doing Superwhites for the headlights and if I can find some, gold for the fogs. Has anyone done this? If so are there pics?

Thanks,
Nirmit

I have the PIAA Ion Crystal bulbs in my foglights. Overall light output isn't any better, but it's more yellow & throws a really pretty rainbow pattern down on the ground right in front of the car.

http://autobulbdepot.com They have the PIAA Ion Crystal bulbs for only $24.39 each. If you want to check them out...... When you go to their site click on 'Product Line' and then the first 'Click Here'. At the bottom of the next screen it will ask you for the make of car you drive. Before you answer that look right above it. There is an animated display of the difference of regular white bulbs and PIAA Ion Crystal bulbs. After putting in 'Subaru' it will ask you for the model of Subaru you drive. Put in whatever Subaru you drive(SVX for me). It will tell you what bulb types you have and show you the selections they have that will fit. For the Ion Crystal bulbs you want: "PA 13555, PIAA bulb-H3 55 = 85W Ion Crystal". If you want a better description of the Ion Crystal bulb click on 'FAQs' and then go down 4 questions. If you have a fair amount of time....Read alot of the questions....Quite informative

Happy bulb shopping
B.C.

P.S. I love the Ion Crystal bulbs for a couple of reasons....
1. In my SVX they look a lot brighter than the stock bulbs
2. I no longer get high beamed because my fog lights are side by side w/ my lows and people asumed the white fogs were my highs. With the Amber PIAA's they no longer look like my highs.
3. When not lit during the day they have that blueish/purple look to them through the lens cover.
4. Just like RidinLow said.... They cast a really cool rainbow pattern on the road
5. They work really well in the fog. Far better than the stock bulbs

edit = spelin boo-boo

I've tried PIAA ion crystal ones, they are good just like all you guys said, but I blow one up so I bought a pair of CATZ bulb. man those are bright! PIAA draw 55 perform like 100, and catz draw 55 perform like 120! and the light pattern is way cooler than PIAA, cause from a distance, it's gold, from another distance it purple. and most of the time it just looks gold with purple! I guaranteed you won't regret!
