Matt,

no worries man. I got the idea off of someone else too. Not a sube, but its all the same. It doesn't really matter what kind of alarm you have, as long as you have at least 3 channels. I.E Button I for arm/disarm, button II for unlocking driver door, and I and II together for unlocking passenger door.

The doors were shaved at a local body shop. Most shops should be able to do this. The important thing is that when they shave them, make sure that they lay fiberglass on the outside and inside of the door to prevent the covered handle from etching out. I was told that this would happen, had they not done this.

Cost, for getting the doors shaved and repainted is up to the shop you take it to. Since my whole car got repainted and they were gonna strip the paint anyway, I was charged $150 for both sides. Assuming you already have the alarm, You'll need to purchase the solenoids, and poppers. Should be no more than $100. If they are, you are getting Jacked. Since our doors are so light, you can get away with the 12lb actuaters, but I had the 30 lb installed at no extra cost. Works great!!!

There is a safety that is installed just in case the car/remote battery dies. You can have it installed anywhere you want. Its just a wire that you can put a 1.5 volt battery to. When connected it will pop the driver door out. Any sound shop should be able to this.

I hope this helps. Good luck!!!

Kenneth
