No GC8 cages in stock. It would take 6-8 weeks to have one here.

It is the perfect compromise between comfortability and supportiveness. Absolutely perfect for daily drivers or even an occasional track day. One of my employees has a Sparco Evo and I feel that this seat is more comfortable AND more supportive!

I sat in some STi Recaro's, WOW. Like Myles said, they're a GREAT balance between supportiveness and comfort...not OVER bolstered or too wide, just perfect.

The only thing not retained on those seats is the height adjustability. The Prodrive sits about 1 inch lower than stock and the Recaro about 1.5 inches lower. You still get the sliding and reclining features on both. We also offer the full line of Sparco and OMP steering wheels.

How heavy is that Prodrive shift knob? So far nothing has felt as heavy to me as the Greddy weighted shift knobs, which I realllly like but everyone in my area is out of stock right now. (including Greddy themselves)

Also, about how big are they? They look similar in size to the Momo Airleather? Am I pretty close?

Xtian,

Here is a picture of the Prodrive knob on an '05 STi(fellow NASIOC member) to give you an idea of how big it is:

As for it's weight, I cannot really comment right now on since I have one coming my way soon for my STi! My buddy's Evo has that Greddy weighted knob, and it is very meaty and makes shifting a cakewalk. When I get my Prodrive, I'll have to see how it stacks up. I'm not looking for anything really heavy like the Greddy piece, but rather, something with more density than the stock baseball-like shifter we got on our STi's.

is the cusco cage for show only, or is it pretty functional? I've heard for other applications that it doesn't help much and it pretty much for show. Is it bolt in?Thanks
