Question Anyone interested in red-stitched shift boots?

Hey all. I wish I were here to offer these to people. Rather, I'm here to ask if anyone knows where some can be found, or built. Basically, I'm looking for a leather shift boot replacement that's black with red stitch, like the steering wheel and shift knob in the RS. I think it'd be a really killer addition!

To whet your appetites, I present a totally custom-built boot created after the efforts of one of my fellow UBB members at www.s2000online.com for the Honda S2000:

And one installed (I love the stuffed "Pinky" animal in this guy's S2000! )

What I was thinking is to have something similar, but maybe with different stitching.
More like the "X" stitch pattern that I think is used on the shift knob (?). The pattern used in the picture is nice, but I think bigger stitches may be neat. Just IMO.

WheelSkins makes a boot, but only in solid or combined leather colors, not stitch colors.
It's also a three-panel design, which if you think about it, is kind of odd. I wouldn't think it'd fit very well. Our shifter surround is square, so the stock boot fits nicely--it's a four-panel design (four pieces stitched together, one for each side). I saw the WheelSkins boot at the Connecticut gathering and thought it was kind of weird.

That's what I'm going for, though. Anyone have any connections, any ideas, any ... anything? Thanks!

EDIT: Added the second pic.

I think its a great idea, but I like the stiching on the S2000's boot, I don't think bigger stiching would look that good, AT least I would not want it on my car. If you know of a place I can get one of these let me know.
Thanks
Drew

Well, the stitch thing was just an idea. I thought it might match the knob a bit better but it really doesn't matter.

Good news though, the fellow who had all the work initiated for the Honda group--Rick Hesel--has told me that he could have the leather place make a batch of these, provided he has a stock boot to build a pattern from.
He can make boots in solid black, solid red, red/black, black w/red stitch, red w/black stitch...... you name it. The Honda S2000 guys have all been extremely impressed.

I'm in for black w/ red stiching!

Come on guys, for those of you who have replaced the stock shiftknob with an aftermarket one, this would complement the wheel and even the Momo wheel.

I'm in!
