custom Perf. Gauge Pack Pics
19 hours total spent on creating this pack, and it was fun i have all my documentation, and had to trim the housing to my likings, and had to modify the metal cage for mounting setup.
if you look at the pics the yellow arrow points to a small gap that has been filled in with matching weather stripping and looks so good, more pics soon. http://216.242.153.40/MembersList/Vi...?MemberID=1510 justin [This message has been edited by joostin420 (edited November 06, 2000).]

When I got my guage pack housing, the two pieces didn't quite fit right. It appears that the "vent piece" is just half of the original compartment piece. I had to "Dremel" the vent piece until there was no gap whatsoever. But I guess if you like the space then it's cool too. I mereley wanted to note that in some cases the pieces don't go together exactly.

Looks great! What brand of guages are those? Did you wire directly to the engine or use the factory wiring harness that you would use with Sube's guage kit?
Thanks! |

wired directly to engine. they are Autometer Phantom 2-1/16" gauges. was not that hard at all. only hard part was installing the Oil Pressure Sending Unit, but i have instructions if anyone needs them.
$280 total (with purchase of $60 dremel tool) -vs- $650 from dealer and mine looks better, pictures don't do it justice justin [This message has been edited by joostin420 (edited November 07, 2000).] |
