Heh. First lesson: The "Bay Area" in California refers to San Francisco.... You'll be wanting the "Southern Carlifornia" forum.

On the contrary, I would not give up a day here for SoCal. I guess it has to do with where you grew up, your friends, experiences, and memories. I mean some things do suck up here, like things being readliy available, and places being open past 9-10pm.

The smog, traffic, water quality is not worth it to me, although i did enjoy my 1 year there.

ken-i must say i feel you thou, broham!

Don't get me started boi, you know whats up. Even though you do have a little experience, you know you know whats really hannen.

Imagine, being able to go out and carve canyons all...year...round. Imagine a place where you could wake in the morning, take a nice swim at the beach, finish up take a 2hour drive to the mountains(way bigger than in the bay) and snow board for a few hours, finish up go home take your lady out to a club finish up and be able to have a 4star meal at 4-5am in Febuary! ****, don't think that will happen here. In the bay I spend more time asking what you wanna do and where you wanna go? Then saying fark it lets stay home and watch a vid! The bay, no way.

What ever, the sun is about all you ever see in SoCal bro. Plus the air quality is soo much better. The bay is getting worse while LA is getting better. I don't think it will ever be super good because of the weather and geography, but it will be very good very soon. talk to people who grew up in LA and who lived there during the 60s, they will tell you how much better it is. Its a lot better than it was when I was a kid.
