Default What to buy?

Suby Dealer is telling me my turbo=teh crap. They say $1200 for new turbo and compression test. What turbo setup can I get for my car around the same price or cheaper. I don't want a massive turbo either! I am not looking for huge gains either, just not a lot of lag.

Thanks

-Zach

It's not covered under a warranty?

You might have a better chance in asking in the factory forced induction section.

The dealer I am at right now says no, but I am going to drive to Subaru of Dallas and see if they will cover it. If they don't either, I figured I could find a better turbo for the same price.
