Default 3-3.5" GC8 turbo exhaust??

Does anyone know where to get a 3" - 3.5" (80mm) Exhaust for a GC8? I know that FAT makes one, but it looks really cheap. I have seen JIC magic's, are there any others out there? what is everyone else running?

how much power are you running? cause honestly 3.5" is overkill IMO unless you are running 400whp at least.

all depends on what you want i guess, if you are most concerned about top end then you could do that, sorry i dont know any vendors, may have to have it custom made.

just get a wrx one and leave one hanger off. I got a 3" bosal single tip and it is very snug especially with 2 long kartboy hangers on the rear. I have this on my NA car right now. Sounds really nice

you say you have a wrx 3" catback exhaust? It doesn't meet up at your stock cats does it?

I have the new SP2 on my NA RS right now. didn't match up, but the guy at the muffler shop just cut the end section of piping off my cat and welded up a piece to change from stock, 2.25in to the 3 inch pipe. It's very do able.

Yor right it dosen't line up so my dad cut out 2 flanges and welded in some piping and it fits perfect. I was tempted to make a few of them as I;m suprised no one has them for sale.

Thanks for the replies..!! I was going to go with a custom made exhaust from a muffler shop, but I don't want some peice of crap Honda Fart can exhaust. So I decided to go with the WRX 80mm RS-R GT 2 exhaust. I had an RS-R exhaust on my Integra type R a few years back, and I liked it... hopefully this will match up and work! http://www.rs-r.com/products/exhaust/gt2.php

I love my Brullen 3" dual tip exhaust. It's a catback system. Very nice but kinda heavy.

get whatever backbox you want, WRX , GC8, doesn't matter -

then have a muffler shop make you a pipe straight to your downpipe. but a cat in if you really want. The shop will hav catcos most likely. If you are super anal by a random tech. cat (just the cat - no piping ) and have that put in the line.

I have a WRX Prodrive oval tip and custom stainless 2.5" midpipe to my ludespeed downpipe.

the muffler shop i went to carries up to 4" i think!!!! lol
