Default tow trailers

anyone know a good dealer in the SE to get a tow trailer? My dad just bought something w/ 330hp and 900ft/lbs of torque that I'd really like to use, but unfortunately I have Subarus which are not too great for towing behind it. Not looking for anything fancy, just a simple trailer for putting my car on.

AWD Subarus with manual transmissions can be towed with all 4 wheels on the ground. I have a couple of thousand miles on mine from being towed behind my RV. I plan on adding another thousand this week when I take the family camping at disney.

hmmm... the owners manual I was looking at (the one for my 96 Impy... didnt' check the 02 one) says that it can be towed on all 4 but only at less than 30mph and for distances no farther than 20 miles. Guess I'll go look at the other owners manual.

With that kind of power and torque, it sounds like your dad got a diesel pusher.

Mine has a little trouble getting up hills when towing the car so it should be fun getting to the dragon in june.

hehe...

2000 Safari Cheetah... trying to talk him into the dragon but I dunno how well that'll work since he hasn't even driven an RV yet.

Steve... I'll ask my dad. Do you know if that one has dual brake axles?

Steve... did you end up getting this porsche? My dad's interested in getting the trailer now (he was wanting to tow a vehicle on the ground earlier).

btw... anyone know if a Miata (auto) can be towed on the ground? (4 wheels or 2)
