Default Pivot Super Baby Timer

hey all,

a friend of mine brought back a Pivot Super Baby Timer from Hong Kong for me. It's a Japanese brand and it's also sold in the States (found their website: www.PivotUSA.com). I believe the timer does not need a harnest to install.

I want to install it onto my 2004 WRX.

So what I want to know is if there's anyone out there that has heard of this brand and how reliable it is.

thanks

Personally never heard of it. According to the instruction manual on their website (http://www.pivotusa.com/installationman/pivsbt.pdf) a plug-in harness is used and should be obtained separately if you didn't get one with the unit. I would not recommend attempting to install this without the harness by cutting/splicing.
I would also suggest doing some further research before going ahead and installing a turbo timer on your 04. It is not necessary for the turbo on these vehicles, and a search of the forums here will turn up multitudes of threads on this subject.

All the Pivot timers will use the HKS car specific harnesses. They are 12 to 20 bucks from your average online store...
