Default Setting the STI UTEC for Perrin injector mod?

I have a STI stage II (UTEC/TBE). If I upgrade to Perrin modified injectors and the walbro 255 pump, how do I set up the UTEC for it? I read the manual twice and don't see any mention of it.

My plan is to install the injectors/pump here in Florida, then drive it up to TurboXS to get it tuned (700+ miles of highway) while visiting the folks for the Holidays.

I don't want my engine to blow up on the drive.

all you have to do is scale the maf a little. as long as you can get the car to idle and run smooth you'll be ok. Just dont boost it. if I remember correctly I used a scale value of 97 when I did mine.

AH I think your missing something, SO you scaled your 810 injectors to 97 from the 550 listed in perameters?

Opps reread your post, why change the MAF scaling? is he running a larger DIA. intake? It is a scaling issue.

Scale the injectors to 800 cc in open loop fueling

for safety pull up your boost map and change all you values to 1. this way the car will run only on wastegate preasure.

Let me understand this correctly: If I go to 800+cc injectors, I'll have to have my UTEC tuned for open loop vs. my current closed loop? Or is that just to get the car to the dyno?

Maybe I should install them at turboxs out in the parking lot then dyno it... How about running just the fuel pump on the stock injectors for my road trip?

Don't confuse open vs. closed-loop boost control with the UTEC's open loop fueling.

Install injectors & fuel pump
In the UTEC.. under "parameters", go to "open loop fueling"
Change "injector flow" to "810" (leave "stock injector flow" at 550)
Drive car to TurboXS
