Wrxkackers------Issues

Sorry to make this post here. I haven't been able to log onto wrxhackers in a long time, and just got an e-mail that I have a pm. Figured it had something to do with engine management, so I'm postin here to see if the person who pm'd me wanted to send the message to me on here.

The wrxlamers site has switched to vbulletin, I imagine the passwords could not be transparently migrated...

Have you tried the "forgot password" link?

The old passwords still work fine, at least mine does. I definitely recommend clicking the ole forgot password button.

Let me rephrase myself. I'm not having problems logging in. When I type www.wrxhackers.com in my browser, a search engine comes up telling me the site "is not available". Thanks though.

If they're associated with clubwrx they probably did...... I'm not trying to logon to the site as much as I wanted to know if the message the person sent was important

It probably is an old message. I know when they upgraded the site I had 150 PMs, for some reason every old message I had ever recieved was in my in box.

Yea, I got every message doubled but that was an easy fix. What if you type 216.127.92.172 into your browser, does it work?

Sounds like you got some ad software on your computer

I'm gonna agree with ad software. Get something like ad-aware or Spybot and see if you can't clean that off.

I have more then one computer here and none of them can get onto wrxhackers, in case that makes a difference. Would you think that all the computers have the same adware, or that one has a proxy setup or something? I don't get it...

hippy, just try getting the AdAware program from lavasoft, get the latest update file for it (it's automatic in the program, just click check for updates) and run a full scan on your computer.

I personally can't get on www.wrxhackers.com because of where I work, urls with the string "hacker" in them tend to be blocked.
