Default Anyone with real Legacy STi information?

There has been a number of posts about the (hopefully) Legacy Sti, however they all plummet into the realm of crap. If anyone has any REAL information about its coming to the US, please post here.

Again, if you are going to flame, please just keep it to yourself...

How about this? All we know is what is in the existing threads: hints, rumors, and hopes.

It's gonna have 4 wheels, 20 lug nuts, some rubber, plastic, metal. Heard they were looking at an anti-matter boxer engine that gets infinity miles to the gallon.

Okay, the last sentence was BS. I swear the first one is true though!

Achilles said it best. If there was actual news, you'd see it posted here.

Don't mind all the jokers in this thread. They didn't mean anything bad.

So after researching all the rumours and hints from many internet sites and ease-dropping on the top level Subaru insiders, the conclusion from my research is: There is greater than a 67.8999% chance that it'll be based on a Legacy platform.

I also heard that it will involve a boxer style engine possily with a turbocharger and intercooler. Oh yeah, and there is speculation that it will have AWD with 4 wheel DISC brakes.

For a news hound like me, Subaru is frustrating. I can leaks and info from just about everywhere except them . I think they are the best at keeping a secret right now, along with Mazda and their RX7 project.

But I'll still keep an ear to the ground.

Well we already told you there is no available information. What more is there to say other than mess around. If you don't want to believe anyone that there is no available information out there, then that is your tough luck.

And we know, for a fact, that this picture exists:

A search proves it as it's in at least 500 threads by now.

The CAR...well...there is one in the picture.

Actually, that car isn't a Legacy STi. It's a Legacy with STi components on it. That is also in those posts, but really isn't a big deal b/c that car is gorgeous.

As opposed to the real Legacy STi which will actually have either Toyota TRD
or Mazda Speed components on it.
