Default car keep stalling under heavy rain and thunder

was running like normal under a heavy rain on my 2002 Bugeye WRX. when I stoped at the traffic light the car suddently gone stall and it keep happenning till the rain stopped. oh one more thing is that all the clocks and meters are all gone back to 0 except the mileage...so weird!!!!!!!!!!!!! will this have something to do with the rubble I took off under the scoop?? help!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like you had a short someplace. I'd double check my fuses to make sure they're all ok.

checked all the fuses.. they all seens to be ok to me... but I found some water near the connector of the driver side head lamp. which has been burned few times(negative).... will this be the problem?? and one thing which is that it only happened when under heavy rain..

Stop listening to whoever told you that information. That rubber piece is there to force all the air through the IC and not let it blow past the IC against the firewall when you're travelling at speed. Whoever told you to take it off doesn't know what they're doing.
