Default Who's running AEM??

Come on, I know you're out there.

Mine comes in today (friday), car is very basic right now (gutted uppipe, APS 3" catted TBE) but once I get the AEM running as I want it, the fuel injectors and pump will go in, and then the Deadbolt 06-20G!

I used the AEM back when it first came out, on my turbo'd integra, and it was a great system back THEN in pretty much beta stage. Now it seems to have really matured. It's phenomenally flexible, I'm just SHOCKED I don't see more people using them, particularly with all the hype about the Hydra all of a sudden!

AEm intake, bad, very bad on wrx. But, I think he's talking about the AEM engine management system, which I personally have no experience with.

aem intakes are fine if you have engine management.

Yeah, I figured that was a given, since this is the engine management forum!

Nobody, huh? I find this exceedingly hard to believe.

I don't find it hard to believe. It came out like 3 months ago, costs a bunch, and the overwhelming majority of people spent their EM money a year+ ago.

It is, however, a proven EM system with known good results on many very high-dollar cars, a solid history overseas as the GEMS system, and really isn't significantly more expensive than the virtually unknown Hydra system which people seem to be VERY excited about.

ODB, contact junior at turbotrix in edison NJ, they are an aem dealer and have a few wrx's running the system. Their street legal 2.0L Evo ran 9.90 with an aem

21-471 has been replaced with the 21-474. The intake has been redesigned to eliminate any CEL's or part throttle issues.

5whp was picked up by the intake alone by Dsport at XS.
