Default Cost of coating exhaust parts

Hey guys, I'm having my perrin up-pipe and helix-type bellmouth dp(fully deletes the cat pipe, mounts up to cat-back) coated. How much do you think it should cost? The coating place claims that the coating is good up to 2300 degrees F, that its basically a heavy duty type of Jett Hott, I saw some pieces and it comes out to a powdery gray finish. It had a smooth look but a slight grain, very fine, but was not runny/liquidy looking like I've seen some jett hott headers. He said they are also able to layer it thicker because it is applied differently. How much is bs? I don't know a lot about coatings, but he had a drag frame, 4 motorcycle frames and several other things that he had just finished powercoating, and showed me some work, and it was all top notch, it was just he only had a piece of stainless pipe about a foot long to show his exhaust coatings. He was a good 'ole boy, but really the kind I like to deal with.

I've never had anything coated, but jet hot quoted me $20 per foot for an uppipe and a downpipe, or $5 more per foot for the 2000+ coat.
