my rx wont start, i thought it was the fuek pump or a relay for the pump. but now i think it is something under the dash or something with the ignition. anyone ever had this problem or know a way to fix it?

Have you checked the T-belts?

Last time mine just quit, it was because the ECU decided to let the smoke out

How did it die out of curiousity?

Did it just not start one morning?

Did it die while you were driving it?

i dont know what did it in, i cant really drive it anywhere cause i havent got it registered yet. but i did drive it down my street and baked it into my driveway the day before it died. i then attempted to pull off the steering wheel to get to the headlight dimmer switch, with no success. then i removed the plastic covering the steering column. after all that, i fixed the pull cable for the hood release, it was just hanging by the pedals. i did push part of the harness out of the way so that i could get hte bracket to fit in place. there are so many things that could have gone wrong in the last week or so. i did end up fixing the ground wire for the fuel pump because of this problem, although that wasnt he cause.

ive checked all the fuzes under the dash and under the hood. none were blown. the horn still works fine. i still need to check and see if the new coil and wires made a difference.
