Isn't that the RB5 wing. It has the brake light on top, which is bad. Very expensive. And you have to get it painted.

Well, not bad like, "It actually makes a difference bad". But bad, like it messes with the air flow and aerodynamics, and if you were a aerodynamics freak, then you'd look elsewhere. But it's a fine good looking wing.

Question

why is the brakelite being on top bad?

the people at autocaresubaru.com are trying to put together a groupbuy on it rite now. they dont know what the prices will be like though.

The aerodynamics shouldn't be disrupted that much if the light it up there.

Hopefully, it comes with long wiring loom for the light. I swapped my sedan wing for a coupe wing and had to swap looms. It was just long enough to work.

IMO, the RB5 wing is great looking but it's just a bit too much for the standard RS. I want turbo power to back up the wing...

oh i agree. it overpowers the car without fender flares. stever here on the iclub is making a 22b kit (he has pics in the private classafieds) and i ran across this wing. that would definately look good with that body kit

I just noticed something...
Is the Prodrive wing shaped like an upside down "U" (like the stock RS wing) or does it have a piece that runs along the bottom (like the v5)?

The ver 5 in my opinion looks better than the RB5, on the Impreza.

2ylite..

yes, basically the wing is a upside down u. i think if your looking at the back of leo's car the bottom you think your seeing is just a shadow.

It does look a little funny before you add the rear skirts IMO. Once I got those puppies on it looked fine.

Wasn't the Prodrive Wing made by the same person who helped design the MacLaren?

IMHO, this would make the wing one of the best.
