Unhappy CEL problems...

lately the cel has been on steady got the codes for knock sensor and O2 sensor... so I had the knock sensor replaced and it went off. But the car was still idling rough and the RPMs were going up and down. Put some fuel system cleaner in and things were ok. It still needed the 60,000 mile service so had that done last week, the spark plug wires needed replacing also. Seemed to run fine... until yesterday I got home from a short road trip (2 hours each way). It started idling rough again so I figured it needed some fuel. Got part way down the street and the idle was really bad and the CEL was flashing.... got to the gas station, put fuel in it and the CEL was just steady... but still the car was stuttering and the idle was rough and the RPMs were up and down.

It sounds like there is something clogging the fuel system. when I stop at a light or let it run for a minute it start to stutter and cough but the fuel filter has been replaced twice in the past month. I am thinking something got into the fuel system when I put some injector cleaner in... may have been something on the funnel I used, maybe... but have had problems before. What could it be? Is there a way to flush out the fuel system or would it have to be replaced? What can I do? My mechanic doesn't seem to know and the dealer is no help.

Default

Change the fuel senders, the sub & the main. That should fix the problem.
