another Newbie question.. this time about the antenna!

so this newbie, me, got way over his head and bought a most tricked out 02 wrx to replace his stolen 98 itr..

at first i thought the radio sucked or was broken.. then i was like hmmnn.. the antenna doesnt go up when i turn it on.. well let me pull it out.. that worked quite well..

then i read the manual and it mentions pulling on it..

is it supposed to be a manually extended antenna?

that is a missprint on the manual. Mine comes out when i turn on the radio.

My 02 wrx also has manual antenna.

yeah its supposed to come out by itself....the manual is wrong.

have the dealer check it out.

Havent your mothers taught you that its rude to laugh at a noob??

And yes, you have to pull it out yourself everytime. Go buy some CDs.

Yeah, mine's a pull-out too. It's nice to have if your gonna park your car somewhere that someone might want to rip it off... like a highschool parking lot. It's also nice because when it's down it cleans up the look of the car yadda yadda yadda.
