Default neutral safety switch code

Ok a couple of month ago I took my 99 rs 2.5 and swaped out the motor and auto transmission to the wrx motor and a manual 5-speed. Everything works perfect except that a check engine light comes up for the neutral safety switch. I'm almost possitive that it is from the transmission swap but how do I fix this?

Thanks

ok silly question, but did you get an ecu from manual rs? There is a connector on ecu that sees ground when car is in ground on manual ecus.
