Keep me posted with what you find out. I want all the blue I can find. I'm hoping someone will put out a new set of gauges that have blue numbers when lit instead of the green. This will also help keep the dash at it's full potential of brightness. If anyone has any info on these please let me know.

Talking

Im thinking about actually trying them out some time this week, kinda weary due to the increase in Wattage. It only about 2-3 more watts but still scary. I guess now would be the time to try it (I have some money set aside for a Stromung Exhaust, could use that to buy a new instrument panel). Any insight from anybody on this? Will 2-3 watts more blow up something?

Wink Might have a bulb for blue mod

I might possible have the bulb to replace the (3)number 74 bulbs in the Blue dash mods.
It is made by Lighting Technologies, is 12 volts, and is a halogen bulb that is 3-5 watts (Im going to ask them the wattage next time I go in). The bulb is actually called LT24 but looks like an identical size. Found it at the local Autozone.

Just got through taking some pictures of the Blue Mod with all 5 Watt bulbs except for one near the 60 MPH area to show the difference between the two. I will put the last bulb in later and reshoot the picture and post it. Check out the picture on the link!

The picture is pretty acurate as far as the way it looks in person. Still looks better in person, It has more of an Indiglo look to it. I just went to look at it again (im in love with this mod).

I think this week when I put the last size 74 bulb in where the 60MPH area is (while I have it open), Im going to replace the 5 Watt 158 size bulb I have in there to an 8 Watt bulb NAPA auto parts makes to see If there is any more difference (might through off the over all look being everything is 5 watt's). I'll let you know how it turns out.

I have Bankheist blue mod, best $15 bucks I ever spent on a mod. I really appreciate the fact I didn't have to find and cut the material. Thanks Bankheist!
