What kind of rust? Surface rust from rock chips? Body rot?

Ask them about the 5 year rust proof warranty.

Is it through the sheetmetal? Or still on the surface?

I'd PM kevin@sod and ask for the number of their bodywork guy. I'm sure he can give you a couple of tips.

That'd be really surprising, but possible if you live right on the ocean w/ saltwater spray. Likely to be, at this point, mostly underbody and body panel interior surfaces. It is probably insignificant and cosmetic. Nevertheless, if you insist, solution, plastic media blast affected areas. prime, paint, and cover with oily residue of various name brands.

Just on the FYI, for the masses.... Kevin is the person (from here) to talk to about SALES. Call Neil Bywater in the SERVICE department if you need info/help/etc. It will save Kevin the footwork of walking back and asking.
