Default Epoxy + Plastic

I'm getting my new grille back fromt he paint shop today, and am going to remove my little "Impreza" badge from the trunk and glue it to the mesh in the grille like all the ricers do with their accords.

I was planning on applying a lot of epoxy to the back of the badge, and have some metal washers or something on the other side of the mesh to hold it in place... anyone know if epoxy is the right adhesive to be using? I've never used it with plastic before. Should I use something different in place of the washers?

Thanks

I think you should use a piece of plastic in place of the washers, that way you could use plastic bonding glue( something that will melt the plastic to the mesh) and make sure that it says that on the package. I used some industrial glue the other day that didn't work at all for plastic on plastic.

there is some epoxy or sealant that is meant for plastic.
most consist of two different gels that must be mixed and then they bond pretty hard.

epoxy will work wounders. 3m makes an awesome plastic epoxy. we use a ton of it. (not for broken things, just to use to hold everything). just scrap both sides of the plastic for the epoxy to hold onto. if possible use somesorta tape. i prefer painters blue tape. to hold the emblem in place. wait about 10-15 min and remove tape. WHALA! "needs to be broken, to be removed"
