Default Vishnu Stage 2 STi

I know there a couple of stage 2 Sti's in CA. Any of you guys on the boards?

I've got so many questions:

How do you like? Lag with the FP turbo? How's the idle with the new injectors? Hows the overall drivability? Would you recommend for a daily driver?

Actually, Vishnu (David-New guy-Good guy) called me and he was interested in using mine as a beta car for Stage 2. Unfortunately for them, I already bought my Perrin/FP setup soon to be installed and tuned.

They were claiming about 300 WHP on CA 91 craptane. For the conversion ppl, that's about 420 BHP.

300 hp is crap.

Shiv tuned my car with a vf22 to 340whp and 360 ft lbs at only 17 lbs of boost.

Well are we talking about the same dyno here?
300WHP on Shiv's Dyno Dynamics dyno is quite good.
Most stage 1 STi's did like 255-265 on his dyno.
Plus we only have 91 oct in CA.

I thought yours was tuned on different dyno?

Let us know.

I hear that from dyno to dyno there will be a difference, but the garret based turbo he is using should make well over 400whp if it is the same cartridge and comp wheel he was planning to use last time I spoke with him.

Stock turbo Vishnu cars with xede and catless were making 285-290 on shivs dyno and low 300s on the turbotrix dyno.

Stage 1 285-290 whp on Shiv's dyno on pump gas?
Turbotrix has a DynoJet right?
I found this thread:

Unload the quotes since NASIOC translates I-CLub to NASIOC. I thought that was gone a while ago.

Where Shiv mentions:

Quote:
But typically, AWD Dynojets read 12-15% higher than our AWD DD Dyno. This means that if a Stage 2 WRX dynos at 245whp on our DD Dyno, it should put down around 275-280whp on an AWD Dynojet.

I heard about the FP/Garrett turbo as well. But I have no idea on the internals.

Regards

Nick

I think its an FP turbo with a new garret Cartridge. Thats basically like a GT30 or GT35 so 400 should be possible on any dyno. I think it will be a detuned or smaller version though cause the xede cant control a 30-35 turbo using a MAF and I cant see shiv making something that you'd need to use a new EM with.

It's an FP Green. Vsihnu says its a "special green" but I heard from a very good source that the only special about it is the higher price

I think the Stage 2 is just turbo, injectors, fuel pump, and reflash of the xede

A Green is a nice turbo size for the 2.5l

I would be interested to se how much boost Stage II uses. (for pump fuel)
A Green can take lots of boost under the right fuel.

Do you know what type of injectors by chance? Hopefully a drop-in replacement in the 650cc range.
