Exclamation Another accident but an accident to be grateful for...

Can you guess? I think my car likes the body shop or something (CarMat in Santa Cruz). Anyway I was on Lawrence just about to go under Central Expressway. This Green Mini Van was following to close to car in front of them so the Mini Van slams it's breaks on. Of course I have to slow down pretty hard to not come to close to the mini van. Well then a white buick behind me had to slam it's breaks on but she hit me at about 10 mph. A little fender bender on my new paint job.

Well anyway I think the pregnant lady (7 months probably) and I were very lucky because that same mini van that basically caused the my accident got into an accident on the other side of Central Expressway on Lawrence. It looked like a white car cut in front of the same green mini van that caused our accident. So the mini van hit the back of a white car which in turn slammed into a SUV. I am not sure what happened exactly because I was getting insurance stuff from the other driver at the time. Anyway when I drove by, there were 4 police crusiers, a fire truck and an ambulance there. Some people were being pulled out by stretcher, looked like some major injuries and car damage. Even though there were two accidents from one green mini van the lady that hit me and I walked away fine.

I think I am pretty damn lucky.

It's good to look on the bright side, Bill. I'm glad you weren't one of those on the stretcher.

How bad is the bumper? Is it just cosmetic damage?

Looks like cosmetic damage for the most part. A little scratching here and there. Nothing a little buffing and paint can't fix.

Just hope the other lady is ok along with her child...

You did open your trunk and remove the trunk carpet and check for structural damage, right?

I didn't do that on an old wreck and turns out the whole trunk was mangled.
