test fitted today. I wasn't that pleased with the fit. They fit like the ones in the pic. Gaps on the side and on the corner. Not sure what happened. I thought I would be getting ones that fit better.

No worries though. I heated them up and now they fit near perfect. They are in for paint now and will have them on early next week.

heated the areas that didn't fit right with a heat gun and molded them to fit the contours of the bumper.

it should get it warm enough. You don't want to get it too hot. Probably screw it up

The gap in the side wasn't that bad. I think the double sided tape would probably have fixed that, but the tip of the passanger side was about 1/4 of an inch off. I should have pics on tuesday.

damnit! hope they are ok painted! I have no heat gun and the temperture is getting really cold here in NY already so a blow dryer probably wont work at all. Gary is there any way you can check them over to make sure they are straight?

That's one of the reasons I got mine unpainted. I always test fit body parts before paint. Don't know when you will need to trim, sand or whatever.

test fit, take them inside work with them a bit, test fit again.

It only took me one shot to get them to fit the way I wanted. I am pleased with the quality of these.

Hi guys,

WRXer12 - Sorry we do not have the EGR rear skirts. The front and rear lip package is available on our website!

DizzySTI - I'm very sorry that you had to heat them up. In all honesty, I think these rear aprons are very fickle. I think during shipping the heating and cooling in transit may change the shape of these aprons, so some may require some heating to get it to fit. Thinking back, the second pair we tested was done in about 95 degree California heat, and we had another car that tested them that said initially they did not fit perfectly, but after about a day in the sun and adjusting the lower brackets (the lower brackets have sliding holes to allow some adjustment) they fit very well.

Diesel Clown - My recommendation would be to just play with the brackets if it appears to be a little bit off. There's a lot of leeway in the brackets. We just got back silver and white today, and I put a pair on my personal car. They fit snugly without any heating.

Andy U - We have shipped all silvers and whites today. The painter is still working on the blues and blacks and is "promising" to finish by monday. Sorry for the delay

I really do apologize for the delay, in all honesty we offer these painted only as a service to our customers as it helps to facilitate the sale (between the pickup and delivery trips, we really make nothing on painting). With the delays and such it's gotten to the point where we are contemplating just not offering anything painted, as the painting is not under our control. If the blue and black guys will bear with me until monday the painter is "gauranteeing" us it will be done. Once again, I'm very sorry for the delays.

Please contact me directly if you have any questions.

Thanks again guys,

Gary

Hey guys,

Just grabbed a quick picture of the ones on my car. Sorry about the lighting, it's now dark. The right (passenger side) one looks kind of off because I lost the rear most bracket and it's sagging a little. Doh!

I basically just threw these on after painting, did not need any heating or tweaking, just a little bit of pulling on the lower brackets.

Cheers,

Gary

The corner of mine was off a little more. Heating it worked great. I did not adjust the brackets when I fitted them. I wanted a tight fit without having to do that first and play with those later.

Gary, No worries. It all worked out. The painter was really pleased with the quality of both the aprons and the lip. the lip had a few pin holes, but primer covered those. Great work though.

Not trying to be negative, but that paint looks a little off. Could be because of fresh paint and needs cure time, or just the clear coat makes it stand out a little more.

I got my 04 aspen white in January of this year and I've noticed a slight difference in color differece between the bumper and body...I'm hoping the paintworld paint will match the bumpers color...
