Question Check engine light

I just installed a Utec in my Sti, and I got a flashing check engine light. I tried reseting the computer, It clears for a while then flashes again. I have the Utec on map O (stock mode). I looked at the logger and it doesnt show any detonation. I get the check engine light at idle speeds.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Rich

cel flashing means that the ecu has detected a cylinder misfire and is a warning to protect the cats
flashing speed is explained in the manuel

Call TurboXS on Monday. I had this problem on my WRX, and they had me:

1. Reflash the UTEC (didn't help)
2. Go back to stock, and try the car (worked)
3. Receive a replacement unit with a postage paid package to send back the original

Basically, the UTEC was defective, and the car ran in "limp" mode with the UTEC connected. The replacement unit worked perfect.

Give their customer service a chance, and let them help troubleshoot. Good luck!

They said the Utec was defective, and I would have to send it to where I bought it for a return. Emailed the place that I bought it from they won't reply back. So it looks like im screwed!!
