Default Differences between 02 and 03 WRX ECU?

I am selling my 03 WRX ECUtek tuned ECU.

I'm wanting to know if this would go into an 02 as just a drop in? Is there any differences between the 2 years?

Thanks for the info.

I'm almost certain they are the same. Find someone with an 02 and plug your ECU in.

Don't quote me on this, but I believe you can install an '03 flashed ecu into an '02. But you can't use a stock '02 in an '03. (or the otherway around, can't remember which) I asked Cobb about this a couple of months ago when I was thinking of trading ECUs. They said the stock '03 has an extra sensor input (and code in the ECU) that's not present on the '02. They said thier reflashes ignore that and can be used in either year.
