any good places to for a 1 day trip ?..something around 3-5 hour drive and i live in dallas...

The Messina Hof Winery in College Station, the tour is awesome and it looks like hill country out there. Super cheap and about 3.5 hours each way.

Winstar Casino on the OK-TX border.....right off of I-35....

or just head out one the closest backroads and go exploring for future 'spirited drives'....

what better way to waste 3 hrs.....and 3/4 of a tank....
