Default CEL day before UTEC tune.

Need some info, so please share what you have.

Today i got a CEL while driving home from work. the code is P0134 (O2 Sensor circuit, no activity detected bank 1, sensor 1).

Im guessing that is my front o2 sensor must of went wack. Did a reset, but it came back on, so it must really be faulty.

However, my question is, i am getting my UTEC and it tuned tomorrow. Should i hold off on the tune and UTEC until i get the CEL issue resolved first? or will it not have an effect on the tune and should i proceed and then get the light fixed after?

Best to replace. If we are tuning I have extra O2 on hand for both WRX and STi as they often do go bad. If you do not you may not be able to tune open loop fueling very well.
