I'm taking reasonable offers, it just sits in the garage and the union guys give me too much grief to drive it to work.

As part of the current job that I have I had to join the IBEW(Electrical Union) and our company also employs Teamsters and Machinists. I work down by City airport and we do 75% of our work for the City of Detroit. If it was as simple as getting a few dirty looks or some un-educated comments from a few co-workers I would just deal with it. I am just not interested in seeing something happen to my car because of where it was built. I also have a cabin up north and Snowmobiles and such which makes it hard to enjoy the car if I can't drive it to work during the week and I can't enjoy it on the weekends because I have other interests.

Skip the no fear sticker, add an nra sticker and a "buy american while I watch my 60" Mitsu and ride my Yamaha snowmobile" sticker and you would have a better potrayal of some of my fellow co-workers.

I am sorry to be selling too.......

Just stick Oldsmobile emblems or something on the STI - I bet you'd fool 90% of the union guys...

Lower price bump!
Mileage is just over 15,000
$26500 with intake,heatshield,downpipe,exhaust.and speakers.

I got a door ding in the drivers door a few weeks ago(The only time the car was driven in October) and I just got it back from Northland Collision. They did a great job but now I am out another $414.

Man you should change jobs or move. Keep the STI. Where are your priorities?!

Hmmmmmm, keep my kick a$$ car and be happy with a new job with new cool people...

...or...

Work the same job with a bunch of ignorant jerks who don't know anything about cars, get rid of my sweet ride, and be miserable. In Detroit.

My sister was in the same position as you, but in the suburbs of Chicago. Now she drives a Z3 in San Diego. Even on the most depressing days where she misses her old friends and family, she is so happy she moved, changed jobs, and is now living in paradise.
