Default problem! showing no boost on boost gauge

it just happened. defi boost gauge. i've had it for 2 years. today it was working and then suddenly when i came to a stop and it dropped to zero. it only reads when i'm at WOT, and the needle is bouncing all over the place. i am getting boost, but not sure if it's all there.

i tried looking for anything loose, but it's a rats' nest in there...

help?

Is the gauge mechanical or electrical?

My electrical oil temp guage started jumping all over the place and one of the connectors on the back of the gauge was loose. I would check there first and then work your way from there.

my greddy elec gauge did the same thing before.. it showed boost, but not accurate.. the reading was below usual..

couldn't figure out the problem.. so changed all the rubber hoses.. bingo! back to normal.. i guess one of the hoses was melted and clogged..

well this morning i take the car to work and it's working again, albeit the readings are a bit lower. but as the car warmed up, it dropped further and further down until it stopped reading altogether
