The latest in a series of firsts. The kartboy replacement lever for the Subaru WRX STi 6 Speed is the first non-Subaru version available. With a height reduction of 1" and a redesigned mechanical advantage, a throw reduction of 40% is achieved. CNC machined and Tig welded in the USA. Matched with a set of kartboy shifter bushings (available separately), a major improvement in the shifting is immediately felt, while retaining the factory reverse lock-out. STi installation instructions

the STi optional is only 10% shorter than what comes stock. bushings are almost the same as stock and its 250.00+ more than what i sell

So just to be sure you don't need to drop the trans to change that out now do I? I know getting the stock one in there was a biz*** when I did my 6 speed swap... also this will work with a JDM trans or USDM correct? I think the shift mechanism is the same but I'm not sure.

no need to drop the trans. i think i only remove one of the tranny bolts just to get a little more clearence for the shifterbushings.
check out our install page on the website.

and it will work with the JDM trannys too
