02-03 Subaru Impreza Sport Wagon w/Scoop!?

Hey all...found this picture and they claim this is a standard Impreza Wagon sport...but to my knowledge they didn't have a hood scoop, I thought this was a WRX only kinda thing? Take a look...lemme know, cause I was planning on a WRX hood for my OBS as an upgrade/mod...thank's.

You have a WRX hood on your TS? How much lighter is it then a stock Impreza hood....how much did it cost you? Thank's.

The TS hood is f'ing heavy and steel, it's a good deal lighter. Probably 30 pounds or so. I got a carbon fiber WRX hood but it's probably not really that much lighter than a standard aluminum WRX hood.

I paid around $500 shipped for the CF WRX hood, had it for over a year and never got any cracking of warping or bubbling. The local rice shop has one for like $250 but don't know how it would hold up over time.

I thought about CF....but not sure how it would deal with Vermont winter's...so I'm opting to find a nice used WRX hood. Is your CF a VIS? Thanks....got any pic's?

I'm sure winter is worse in Vermont than Arkansas, but my hood has stood up to layers of snow and ice, sleet and the occasional dime size hail, plus our summers with that lovely sun and 8000% humidity. Not a VIS, got it on eBay
