Post factory stereo question

i just bought a amp...i was wondering when i hook it up, are there any rca jacks on the back of the factory stereo to hook up in the amp...

Noway Jose. You're going to need to splice into the speaker wires and use the high power input on the amp (or one of those line level converters)

No, there aren't any RCA's.

However, you might be able to tap into the power that goes to the factory sub if you have that. I don't have the sub, so my amps are on when my radio has power. I don't mean when my radio is on....I mean when power reaches the radio, as in when the key is in accessory or on.

It sucks, but there aren't any other options, except for
A - new head unit
B - switch to turn your amp(s) on
C - power all the time
D - power when accessory is on

I'd choose door A if I were you... the cost of a line level converter can be pitched towards the purchase of a proper HU.

SilverSuby - The factory sub just splices into the radio wires... it shares the power with the deck, which is also always on.
