as i said in the other thread, that is awesome good job. did you do both swaps yourself? the V5 and the legacy i mean.

if so even more impressive. i love doing the work on my car but i am sure the wiring would wear me out on that swap.

everyone says the wiring is so bad but i dont get how it would be if you had the whole harness? obviously i cant say because i havent done it but once you have the dash off isnt it just mainly routing it, once its in the engine bay just hook up the sensors and inside the car hook it up to everything else?

lol, i know that is a HUGE simplification of the process but just wanted to get your take on it to get an idea of what i may face if i decide to do a whole swap instead of just a block.

thanks and congrats again. if those two cars are yours that is my dream

Awesome work! Where did you find the donor XT engine if I might ask? I have actually spent a little time searching for a donor engine(even just a WRX engine) and having no luck here in the SE.

Sweet! The car seems to look meaner to me, coz I know what's under the hood

It should have been a direct fit in the engine bay right? You replaced a 2.5 with a 2.5...

What are you using to map your electrical/electronic conversion? Do you have wiring diagrams for both vehicles? You mention that you have both harnesses. I know I could pull off the swap at home with no sweat, but am color perception challenged so that IS the daunting part of the task for me.

Did you use all of the FXT running gear too or just the engine and turbo system?

BTW - sweet, sweet, sweet V5 conversion. Just like everything about that car! Great job!!!
