Arrow Accessport wait time gone down at all?

I'm about ready to order one but I was just wondering have they finally been able to ship these out in a decent turn time? Or is there the still 6-8+ week time of shipping the units?

Thanks,
-Nigel

I have read rumors and comments that it is MUCH quicker to get one from one of Cobb's Authorized distributors. I am not sure how valid this is, however what harm would it do to make a quick phone call to a couple of them.

Default No need to wait.

I bought mine from Subaru of Dallas www.hotsubaru.com, one of Cobb's authorized retail centers. It took about 4 days for me to get mine. Check out their site. They generally have a couple in stock for both '02-03 and '04 models.

They were also good about answering all the questions I had.

Update: I just checked their site, and they have 1 in stock right now for '02-03.

When did they take your payment? I placed my order 8/23/04, and I haven't had any money taken, or any confirmation that the thing is even on order.

Cobb does not seem to have their credit card machine set up for automatic nightly settlement. My charge hit 8 days after I ordered, and after I called them about it. They still stick to the order date, regardless of when the run the charges.
