Default Want to make your interior look cooler for 12 dollars?

alright well I am busy making my baja look good inside and out (running boards on order) Since I dont have a tripod the pic didnt come out SUPER good but for a new less than a week old 550 dollar minolta camera I love it. Well go to spencers gift shop and get some 12 inch black lights. They go for 6 bucks a piece and can connect to your ciggerette outlet. (hard wiring is in the works too for that part) anyways I hooked them up with a couple zip ties. These light dont run hot at all and I think were worth the money. More interior lighting mods are in the works but I am keeping them a secret for now.

btw, the Head Unit is a Pioneer DEH-P850MP and I LOVE it...did I mention LOVE it? Cant wait to hook up xm to it

I did that same mod last year with some blue catho tubes from target. Got tired of it after a while and took them out. Looks better in person. Hint on the photo, if you don't have a tripod try setting the camera on something and use the self timer. That way the movement of your fingure pushing the button won't make the picture blury.

Looks like a cool novelty. Good photo tip also.
Maybe someone might hard wire them to come on when the door is opened? Just thinking outloud, because my Jetta has factory purple lighted guages, might be a cool combo.

It is possible to change the bulb in the door lights. You could also place a blue tint on the inside of the door lights. Don't forget to do the overhead light too.

I've changed my door lights(puddle lights) to 10 watt bulbs.Sure lights up better at night, better than the 3.4 watt bulbs.
