Default Help - performance pads hosed OEM rotors

Hello,

A few years ago after getting my 00' 2.5 I bought some performance pads (don't even remember the name).

Hit 80k a few months ago and had my mechanic put the new pads and OEM rotors on. I'm getting a lot of vibration during moderate braking, and after another trip to the mechanic, he confirmed my pads were getting the rotors too hot and they're out-of-round.

I should have known better to mix (I'm working 90 hours weeks and not thinking clearly), but now I need to get some performance rotors.

If in my shoes, what rotors would you get? I pretty much use the car as a daily driver (my S2000 takes the serious floggings now , and want something that doesn't cost a fortuante or require me to then upgrade the pads. I realize this may be difficult w/o knowing the brand of pads I have, but any suggestions??

Thanks,

jpod@sbcglobal.net
