Default buschur racing 3" tbe

Hello everyone, I have a buschur racing 3" tbe since the end of the summer. When I put it on I didn't notice a gasket from the turbo to the downpipe on the stock exhaust. Is there supposed to be one or no?

yes there is one and it was probably stuck to either the back of the turbo or the back of the stock downpipe.

That's what I was thinking, but when my friend and I put the exhaust on we looked for a gasket and didn't find one. I don't think we could have missed it either. So my next question is if there isn't an exhaust leak at the turbo to downpipe connection is there a problem with running without a gasket there?

If you run without a gasket you will get a leak. If you have already installed the new DP and don't have a leak then the gasket was stuck to the turbo. If it is stuck to the trubo it will not be easy to see. It will match in color to the turbine housing and is almost the same size. More than likely it is stuck there. The gasket has been stuck to the turbo for every DP installation I have ever done on a WRX.
